Method: Acrylics and coloured pencil on primed paper (300 g/m2)
Size: 21 cm x 29.7 cm (artwork), 35 cm x 45 cm x 2 cm (frame)
Process: I primed the paper using a mix of acrylic paint and matte medium, with additional layers of gradually more opaque acrylics added on top. I partly scraped off the topmost coat using a paper towel and acrylic slow dry medium as solvent. For this painting, I used two colours only: Burnt umber and ivory. For the figure and pose, I used a photographic reference, which I purchased & licensed from Studio Grafit, Yerevan.
